Does anyone have a Google Voice number that can be used for this?
A number that people can text, asking to be added to the group.
The Google Voice email notifications need to be forwarded to my personal email address.
Ideally, the number should have been used recently.

Don’t worry, I did heavy research (long convo with Gemini, Perplexity search, and reseach with Google AI Mode Deep Search) if the exact way I’ll be using it will trigger any flagging.

Google mostly looks for people automating sending messages, not recieving them.
sending is more restrictive the receiving but if it will go to high amount’s it will flag even incoming expirence bro…
According to my research, I’m not going anywhere near amounts that would be problematic, but if you have actual experience, tell me what you’ve found.
There are other things that affect how easily you’ll get flagged, like how new the account is, how active it has been overall, if its a sudden spike in inbound messages vs if the amount increases gradually, if the incoming messages are all identical or not, among other factors.
In my opinion you should get a regular second number for this bot so people can text it and you can manually add them (or set up a bot…). I don’t think you should trust AI on the Google Voice rules.
You can get a ten dollar a month plan with US Mobile. I am telling you to spend money based off the fact that you will get popular and eventually make money off ads.

Turns out there’s a bug that if you first text something else (in his case it was ‘Join’), the system will ignore all messages you send afterwards.
Will have to fix it.
