As you guys know already that Verizon customers who are using an unverified device are having issues with listening to voice notes and compressed images. Besides if they are using Verizon messages app (Message+).
In my case I’m using the Unihertz Jelly Star phone and I want to use Google messages, so is there any work around to spoof the phones identity, that Verizon should think that I’m using a verified compatible phone? (Just changing the IMEI, isn’t the solution.)
No there isn’t a way to do that (not as of yet)
The phones mms-user agent is written deep in the phone, not so easy to change.
(There is a magisk module out there that spoofs any phone to the galaxy s24, however its risky (if it would work even for this issue) and i know someone that bricked a device trying to do that.)
I guess I am. Voicenotes work fine for me, but many MMS images come in too compressed to read text.
Aderaba, if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
PS yes.
PPS they said it was already enabled.
PPPS so i guess I didn’t really have to in the end.
PPPPS so delete the first PS.
