I came across this reddit post. Very interesting. Apparently CDMA-less mode can help solve notification issues for voicemail.

So for Verizon users call up and ask them to enable cdma-less mode. If they don’t know what your talking about you can tell the rep to enable feature code 83856.

With US Mobile Warp you will need to call in once a month to re-enable it (hence this post https://www.reddit.com/r/USMobile/comments/1rcna7p/solution_for_cdmaless_users/)
