Website To Kosher APK

Here’s a great site to make a website into an app:

The app uses WebView and it will only open links that start with the site you originally set up.

It has some more advanced options which I believe are for certain sites that will open another site for logging in or the like. You therefore can add that url to the app and it will allow it to open.

Credits: The site is built off this GitHub project:

I am not sure who made the site to credit, if you know please pm me.

PS Please don’t lock this thread. Because there are the more advanced options, I would like to leave this thread open for people to discuss it.

PPS If you benefited from this please don’t forget to give a thumbs up. Thanks!

This will not allow any external links?!

Correct.

Can an English version be made?

What’s wrong with translating the page?

I tried making an APK for this URL https://www.reddit.com/r/dumbphones. What I got was an app allowing the entire reddit. Apparently it cut out the /r/dumbphones, does anyone have experience with making a website to APK with a specific link not the whole website?

It does sub domains but not paths

Use Median.

But will it be kosher?

If you configure it that Android should handle offsite links externally.

Anything on reddit.com wouldn’t be considered an offsite link so it would open in the app

You could change what it considers offsite links.
