There are so many threads that are locked, even if the solution is provided why not leave it open for someone else to add feedback or follow up on it in the future.
If the mods work so hard to keep the forum organized and if there are so many locked threads then users just need to create new ones…
That makes sense, I also think that guides should have separate threads but should stay open so people can ask questions on the guide.
Then there are topics that don’t need a separate thread, like Google’s operating system aluminum. The op opened it so people can ask and discuss it there.
I recommend that whenever a topic is closed it should have a message at the end. For example “this doesn’t meet Jtech standards” “this is mocking a Jewish company”
This will make all users not feel locked out and provide transparency.
