For those who want a home server, and to get into self hosting, but don’t know where to start with configuration, this project is real nice. Does most of the legwork.

It’s real nice. I already have a homeserver setup, but I installed it in a VM anyway.
I personally wouldn’t use it solo because it doesn’t have everything I need, but it’s really just like any Linux OS (think it’s based off Ubuntu) and you can add whatever containers you want manually.

sounds like a great thing to try! I’m still new to Linux so correct me if I’m wrong but the instructions don’t seem to target arch distro’s such as my Manjaro laptop. is my distro incompatible?

All should be compatible as far as I know. You’ll just have to research how to install them on arch based distributions.
