When you press the star button, it creates a button down event (and a button up event when you release it). Previously, the app was intercepting both events, preventing anything else on your phone from receiving those events.
The two fixes no longer intercept the button down event, but they do different things on button up that I want to test.

Only tested to see if the star works and also if the hold is the default

File size got a lot bigger but hopefully the release/final apk strips out the overhead.
