What’s the benefit of dumbdroid?
What unique about it?
Nothing really unique. That’s the good part.
Is there a benefit of running Android 14 then 13?
Nothing major.
But for the F21 it’s a big upgrade, so I tried it on the Tiq and it worked, so I shared it here if someone is interested. That’s it.

Works faster than the stock ROM, especially while using Android Auto, which on the stock ROM it’s extremely slow
Is everything different including the home screen and settings? What changes with this ROM?
@Yidish did you see any cons of switching over to dumbdroid?
Will this also fit Lom S9 ?
Just tried it myself it’s definitely a lot faster do you think because it’s running Android 14 as supposed to 13 or because it’s running leneageos which is a lighter software or something else?
One big con is that dumbdroid doesn’t have WiFi calling. The reason for this is he couldn’t figure out how to get it working.

I installed according to the instructions on my TIQ m5s, and as a result the device won’t turn on and I have no idea what to do. SP Flash Tool shows error 0xc0050005 after 2 minutes.

I have no idea what to do now since I forgot to make a backup. Also, mtkclient gives me a “dram setup failed” error. Does anyone have a backup?

Error ‘0xc0050005’ again. I think the preloader is not compatible, but I don’t know where to find the right one.
SP Flash Tool still didn’t work, but mtkclient started working after updating the version. Does anyone have stock firmware for the M5S or a partition dump from mtkclient? mtkclient sees and writes all partitions, but the firmware from the M5 seems not to be compatible, and the device simply doesn’t boot.
