I spoke with tripletel several times about this issue, and it’s not able to fixed-at least on message+. You could try by installing a different messaging app.

The phone has 4G network when on standby, when on a call it switches to 3G. When 3G is being discontinued the calls will automatically stay on 4G.

Message Plus in Israel

I am in Israel I have tripletel which gives you an Israeli and an American (which I believes is a virtual number) and I have texting on my American number. The problem is when I get an incoming text it comes up as +9727321234567 and I have to send it to 17321234567 which makes me have 2 threads for each person. One for incoming and one for outgoing. Which is very annoying. I called tripletel and they said it’s a message plus problem and there’s nothing to do about it. If anyone has an eitza ple…

I just checked the bands from the Kyocera E4610 and which bands Israel uses, and non of the Kyocera E4610’s 4G-LTE bands are used in Israel, are you sure your getting real 4G?

Not using E4610 anymore -cause of message thread problems, but pretty sure I used to have.

No cuz it has many gold labels and logos so it’s obviously better…

One big difference is 4811 doesn’t have XT9 texting, 4810 still does. I would be very interested if 4811 came out with XT9 again. Here’s a Trick I use with my 4810 to make the texting usable. The message app opens very slowly sometimes, so just cancel out with the clear button when you’re done texting instead of closing the phone, and next time it will open just like it should.

I tried that, but it had problems with scrolling up to past messages, it wouldn’t let me.

I was never able to install message plus on 4810. I wish I could though, because it’s better. I also wish I had a good option for a Kyocera AT& T phone with XT9. 4830 has prediction. Any ideas? 4710 is a nice phone, but I understand there’s no good way to filter them?

I guess I never tried message plus, though I did try another messaging app, and it just kept on crashing. Does it work for you?
