Kyocera Phones Master Thread

I use the quik messaging app posted somewhere else on this forum, but I also have the messaging+ app, I just have a problem with looking at past messages.

I posted how to get it to work here

You have to make sure it’s the default message app in the system and it should work

Idk, maybe will try it again.

Did

My problem was that whenever I went up in a convo, trying to look at past messages, It would immediately go right back down to beginning. (could be it was only messages from other messaging app)

Thanks! I’ll try it! Is there anything that works like that for the 4830 or 4811?

Not that I know of

Can be actually I had a friend who had that issue once he deleted all the messages it worked no problem

I have a number of important messages, otherwise I would’ve tried that. But lo and behold, I just tried it and it seems to be working! Will keep everyone updated! And thank you for the help!

Kyocera DuraXV E-4610 that my friend has. He is putting in his password, and either he forgot the password, or as he claims- he knows it, but it’s just not working. 3/10 attempts remaining…
Any Advice?

some what on the topic: adb creates a ~/.android directory - in it is the keys in theory you should be able to transfer to another computer

Thanks. I also recalled seeing it but couldnt find it.

Do you have any experience with this? Now I am realizing it may have been authorized on my old computer. It doesn’t mention in the guide that it needs to have been authorized, only that USB debugging has to have been enabled…
Are any of the other options viable on a Kyocera?
