most importantly the message app that you can put in contacts. But just a apk will do both.
Though the messaging app is horrible in regards to missing random MMS’s. I did not have that issue with Google Messages.
Any fix for the call history?
UPDATE:
Being that the phone was extremely slow (probably because of GAPPS) causing phone calls to take too long to show up on my screen and the bluetooth issue it wasn’t worth using as my primary phone. I miss the pros I had using it though.
What phone you using now?

It is super limited compared to what l had on the TCL. But for what it has, it’s amazing!
Gapps make it very slow
I have used a TCL as my main phone for over a year at this point.
People in yeshiva have pointed out to me that it’s funny that THE flip phone guy has the most basic phone. I know if I would have any other phone, I’d probably be obsessed with it (especially a CAT or Qin). I’m currently using the 4058L running PJ3R. It’s fine.

What about getting to the home screen while on a call?
I once tried it out when it first came out. It took up a lot of space on the bottom of the screen. They might have fixed it since then. Can you send the one you use?
Oh yeah. Somebody sent me a Magisk binary that brings you home if you hold the messages button. I also have voice access mapped to the star button.
It’s a setting to switch off on screen keyboard. When it’s off it’s much better and works great

I just tried it out. I see why it’s appealing, but I’m already very used to KIKA (the default). Thanks for the suggestion!
