LOL, I don’t think it is, it’s from a random solo dev, I think I spoke to him on Reddit.

Especially since the site is showing us the difference between AI generated and not, so it doesn’t need our inputs to find the differences

But it’s very possible that others will use this site for fine tuning image generators.

This alert popped up everywhere on my friends phone and they don’t know what to do. Posting for them cause they are rather concerned and don’t wanna use their phone at all.
They followed all the steps that apple said to do but the cyber security “team” with apple says they only help “journalists, government officials and public activists.” Obviously they followed all the other steps like Iphone lockdown, updating to all the current software updates and fully shutting down the phone etc. What else can they do? Get a new phone? Give it time and hope it’s fine? Factory reset? I suggested iverify to look for malware but again, they are concerned to really use their phone at all. Any suggestions or info is appreciated.

From what I’ve read, it sounds that those notifications can be real, and is a thing, albeit happening very rarely.

The suspicious part is that OP’s friend officially isn’t involved in anything that would make them a target.

Although it sounds like there could be logical explanations for this happening to them, including:

• The friend knows someone who’s the actual target, and is considered an easier target to be able to spy on for info on the real target
• The phone is used, and the last owner is the actual target
• The last owner of this friends phone number is the actual target
• They were targeted accidentally, some mix-up in name or other data about them
• They’re not actually being targetted, and it’s just a false positive from Apple

But still, I’m wondering if OP just got those pictures off of Google and made up the story to farm karma.
