Use new, works for both.
No advantage of being unrooted. This device does not have hardware attestation regardless, and you will lose some features unrooted.
After install make sure to update the more settings apk from the link in the post.
So just confirm confirming that 6.1.3 won’t work in America with the US bands?
6.1.3 has US bands by default.
Just write down imei, bt addr, and wifi mac.
If u don’t care about bt and wifi address, use this app to change IMEI after install:

When I was on dumbdroid unrooted rcs worked
Once I got 6.1.3 I needed to get a new key box to get it to work
I was trying to put this on the first, I tried putting back on the stock ROM so I can enable developer for options to fastboot the device, I used SP Flash tool and now the phone won’t even turn on and the SP flash tool won’t even read the device? The phone vibrates when you plug it in, but that’s about it.
Your meant to plug in for spflash in brom not fastboot

If you had the source, would you reupload the “new” ROM with the edits for others to use? I’m sure @nooch would allow you to upload “compiled” ROM to the f21 repo I transferred.

Gladly, though I’d probably just drop the APK instead of repackaging the entire ROM.
Here is a list of changes I plan on making to the ROM. Most of these are personal choices, so don’t think anyone else will be interested.
- I use a launcher that allows hiding apps from the main drawer, so I want to update magisk and allow it to show in the launcher. Same goes for KSU Web UI and other “hidden” APKs.
- I use the stock dialer (allows call recording) with google contacts and google messages (for RCS). I want to remove the stock MMS and contacts app. After this, I’d like to remove the switches in the extra settings app.
- Switch the clock app (remove the current system app, systemize the one I am using) - better launcher widgets.
- Remove Fluid Navigation.
- Remove “Advanced Reboot”.
- A bunch of other stuff that I’m forgetting right now, but will hopefully remember when I sit down to do it.

Anyone else have this issue with this ROM meet has bugs as well as chat has many glitches, I have this on a couple of phones that have this ROM
I made a few changes as well I systemized the new IMEI app, hebdate, siddur, removed the notepad added in color note added a toggle for dark theme added search in
settings and Hebrew date under the regular date in the home screen still working on the lock screen

I would also put back in captive portal which is missing I’m also trying to add an hotspot toggle but keep running into issues.

I think it’s missing some sort of dependencies I originally thought it was removed from the systemUI ARSC but it’s there I also tried editing something in the system but it’s not coming up for some reason
What exactly is not coming up?
