.bat is for windows only

sh with a shortcut. Some os’s will ask if you want to run on double click like mint.

It’s not just the script, there are some windows programs in the folder that the batch script runs, you will need to replace those with the linux equivalent

Basically, bkitzur, my current workflow is that I use an Linux ISO for mtkclient to backup band partitions, then switch to windows to flash the rom, then back to Linux to flash band partitions.
That’s a hassle, so I’m trying to find out if I can do it all on Linux.

you can also do it all on windows - just pointing out. setting up mtk client once on windows is much less of a hassle than rebooting into a live iso everytime you need mtkclient, especially if you are doing minimum twice per device

In hochi nami (loosely - true, true), I admit it’s a hassle. However, I crossed that bridge once and use mtkclient happily on windows all the time. Aderaba (here - in fact), getting it running on linux with python venv was also a tircha (pain in the neck).
