Rooting Sonim Phones

You have to put your file name at boot.img and use the correct loader. —loader prog_emmc_firehose_8909_ddr.mbn. Make sure your loader is in the directory you are flashing from.

I never used it, but if I figure out how to install it properly, I can add it to the iso I made.

Once installed, does it need sudo to run?

successfully rooted a sonim xp3800

i am able to install apps directly from the phone thank you @flip for the firehose

Would the firehose help me for my Xp3900 if I don’t have a dump yet?

i think its a different chipset you could try though and see what happens

only able to install through a root installer i use lucky patcher

I’m trying to do it for so long!! can you give the steps you used? also would it also work on xp5800?
