We have solved the Qin F21 Pro problems by supplying a separate app to handle the accessibility filter operations on the F21. As part of this, there is an additional apk file available for download that needs to be installed in addition to the main eGate apk on the F21. On all other devices, no additional apk is needed. Note that all configuration is still done through the main eGate app. There is a new option in the Accessibility section name “Use external accessibility service” that tells eGate to use the additional app.
Any update regarding disabling the dns option with accessibility?
Also having the option to disable any activity with accessibility would be great (by typing the activity name)
This version adds a single change. When the external accessibility package for Qin F21 Pro phones is being used, eGate now automatically blocks its from being uninstalled.
In general, would there be any use for a feature that would allow you to select a list of apps that can’t be uninstalled? It would be quite easy to implement.
Can you get me a screenshot of dns settings? It’s possible it is slightly different than on my devices.
Also, I uploaded a new apk for Qin phones to the 1.9 release. This update has one minor change where it doesn’t allow you to view the app screen for the external accessibility filter so that you can’t stop it by hitting the Force Stop button. You will need to reboot after installing the update.
