eGate - Android MDM - Version 1.25+

Bit of an update for the reseller app.

  • You can now change your password.
  • The the old user page is now a general settings page, and the license list has been added to a new page.
  • There is also a logs page that displays your account activity logs. We discovered some bugs in the logging system, so current logs don’t make a lot of sense.
  • The app now properly handles storing authentication state, so you don’t have to log in every time you visit the app or refresh the page.
  • Account credit purchases are disabled on Sundays, New York time.

Also, sneek peak at what we are working on next:

Is this for the app or website?
can you post the app the one posted on the uploaded apps thread doesn’t work by me?
why are purchases disabled on sunday?

We are creating functionality that lets resellers have their own custom dns servers that they will be able to set in eGate.

I’m a Christian, that’s why.

Wow! Love these updates!!

Why don’t you implement that account topups are automatic
Shouldn’t be too hard

Untested on android:
app-release.apk (7.2 MB)

Working on it.

What’s this

An android app that loads the reseller site.

By the way, there’s a bug with the logs page that it says a license was charged for 20 when really it was charged only for 15

It only shows 20 for past licenses, not ones that you buy now

That is a historical bug that is now fixed for new licenses.

I installed egate on a onn tablet. I set it up on Friday and set the password and tonight when I opened the app it gave me the screen to set the password.
Also when pressing back in the app it gives me this screen even though I set it as admin already:

This happened to me again tonight. The app asks me to set a password and all the blocks I set up gets reset. Anyone experienced this?

How did you set the password?

Isn’t there only one way?

By typing it in after putting in my license key.

By any chance did you delete any global settings from adb?

What is that?

If I toggle on the DNS which says ads, that is supposed to block in app ads?

When trying to toggle it, egate just froze up.

Depends on what ad server they use.

That means it can’t reach the DNS server. Does the phone have Internet? Do you have a VPN on? Or a firewall?

What about the ads that come along with apps that you download from the Play Store which are from Google.
