I’ve seen online that message plus has been shut down. Will that in any way affect LG Exalt or any flip phones that use message plus?
If not then what exactly was discontinued about the app?
Message plus server is going down. So all groups, profiles etc. are not gonna work.
The app may continue to function as a offline messaging app…

If your basing off the fact that you don’t need data does that mean that MMS which usually does need data won’t work anymore?
it depends on carriers, but these days, mms and data are separate.
Anyone knows how to get rid of the update needed banner?
(the app still sends and receives messages just the banner block the main page)

Right the app might work but you cant get rid of that pop up i tried multiple versions
So that popup will go away if mobile data is disabled from the app, I tried this with a VPN that disabled the mobile data from only this app, MMS still worked, if someone knows how to properly modify/clone the app to disable mobile data/wifi that would make message plus usable.
